10.29.06 I decide to break out the old web cam for some crazy live camera mixing. I modified the camera to allow more infrared light in (courtesy of a nifty article in Res magazine) - and it gave everything a weird red look, but, when people got close to it, they became green (because of an effect applied in Arkaos) - so it became the "Monster Cam"! LOL
It was the first time I have tried to use a live camera feed. It was a big hit - people just love to dance in front of the camera - go figure! I hope to post some footage from the night - it's a fascinating "fly on the wall" perspective into the club scene on Halloween. It's actually very good - almost "artsy" and really kicks up a level when people realize what I am doing and we start to work together to create a cool image. Very interesting indeed. I may have to look into getting a "proper" camera.

10.01.06 It's hard to believe that I'm coming up on my second Halloween show at the See Sound Lounge (more details later) - where has that year gone?! The good thing is I get to play those Halloween clips again!!!! (plus some new ones I'm sure ;)
The "VJ stock" project is progressing. I have a lot of content captured and just need to put in the time editing it! Hopefully, by next month I will at least have some FREE stuff for you to download and play with. That's my goal at least, and then shoot for a commercial release in January (it will be here before we know it!)
