04.11.06 This is a subject very dear to my heart (for obvious reasons - and good news as it comes on the heals of the Smithsonian's announcement of SELLING our PUBLIC DOMAIN archive (who knew they could do that?) to SHOWTIME for "First Refusal Rights" worth $50 million - making it so you have to get approval from SHOWTIME to use FREE PUBLIC DOMAIN content! Thanks Smithsonian!)
I am so proud (even though I have nothing to do with this) of the British audiovisual crew Addictive TV (the guys behind the huge AV show OPTRONICA) who put this together. Finally someone in Hollywood woke up and thought "gee this would be a good marketing tool..." and asked them to do a remix video for the movie "Take the Lead".
They did a hell of a job (imagine trying to please all the people they had to get this "OK'd"!) you can check it out here, courtesy of DJ Magazine.
A new day indeed! Now how do I get me a peace of THAT action?!

04.01.06 I know I also say this every month too, but... I am working on uploading new clips - honest I am! I decided I needed to review all of the last couple of shows (some 15hrs of recordings) to pick the best bits, so as not to "repeat myself" (clips get reused from time to time don't you know) and I want each clip to be "fresh" for my visitors. So...got to get on that.
