02.26.06 VJ-ing two nights a week means lots of editing and making VJ loops. That takes up most of my time. When people say, “Hey that looks fun! I could do that!”, I say yes you can but I spend 99% of my time editing – you’re only as good as your loops (well, you have to “play” them with some degree of talent, but if you build them correctly, you can direct people to the bathroom, inform them that you are NOT the DJ – that would be the person over there mixing the MUSIC! – and what you are doing is actually on those two huge screens in the club (see just like the little picture on my laptop!) – all while maintaining the illusion of actually VJ-ing. ;)
I’ve been doing lots of work gathering content to start making my own VJ DVDs. It’s most likely going to take a few months (heck I’m just shooting to get ONE out by the end of the year!) Also, I’m working on my own line of VJ loops, for sale. So, that should be coming around some time in the next few months.

02.06.06 Last weekend we had two more projectors at The See Sound Lounge (counting the two plasma screens in the back room - that made 6 screens showing my visuals!) It was an awesome sight to see and completely transformed the room into a "sight & sound" vortex! It was great! I LOVED it!
The best part was seeing people holding up their camera-phones and taking pictures of their friends in front of the visuals! I took that as a compliment ;)
