Starting March 14th, I will be VJing Wednesday nights at the See Sound Lounge as part of "80's Night". It's funny, but I actually have VHS tapes, that I recorded, from that time - I think we got a VCR around 1983 - I remember being INSANE to record everything! It will be a trip to revisit those tapes and see what I have. It's always weird to see stuff you recorded and say "What the hell was I thinking, why did I record this?" Hopefully there's some hidden gems in there. It's also funny that I still have my skinny ties! (I was a Mod/Goth kid) The smell of Clove Cigarettes always takes me back to my "Dance Club" days. Too funny.

One thing I really LOVE is when you use something all the time, and it's worked well for years, all of a sudden doesn't work! FUN! Like, say "View Source" when you want to edit and update your website. Yep, today, for some reason, that "feature" doesn't work anymore with my Internet Explorer. I was able to write this by just opening the file in notepad (after spending an HOUR trying to figure out what the hell was going on! Still didn't fix the problem, but like so many mysteries, you just find a work around - or start using Firefox!)

Getting reday fot this week's VJ Night. I might have to fly solo for my set, so I am experimenting again with "audio+video" clips - lots of fun, though I have to find some common thread other than me just f*cking around, which IS fun, but maybe not for an audience to sit through. So...off to make clips and hope I get "inspired" ;)

LOL - Ok, here's something for the AdSense bots:
I'm really looking forward to the next VJ night and talking about VJING and the TECHNOLOGY that goes along with it. We'll have a big VIDEO screen to show the live VIDEO MIXING going on. I hope my COMPUTER is up to the task! I know our guests will be creating the COMPUTER GRAPHICS all live, along with live audio too! It will be like a live version of the DEMO SCENE with live COMPUTER ANIMATION. I might even try my hand at using just VIDEO clips with audio too.
Whew! Will I have to write that each month? Hmm...

Yes, a new month and I'm finally getting around to implementing some website changes. The first phase was adding the Google AdSense links - I have no idea what ads will show up initially, so I will make sure to use lots of words like VIDEO and VJ and COMPUTER to try to steer the bots to the correct advertisers. Seems like somewhere I read where I could pick from advertisers that I wanted - to better serve my "visitors"...but I guess I'll have to look into that some more. Let's just say it wasn't as "intuitive" as I thought it would be.
