04.24.05 I’ve been wondering if my website email has been working or not, so I took a look at my web-mail and I think I have it set up correctly now (I’m not sure that it wasn’t before…but I changed a few things and I think it will receive email properly). If you don’t have/use Microsoft’s Outlook/Outlook Express to send your email, just copy and paste scobot@scobot.com into your email program. I apologize to anyone who has sent me an email and wondered “did that guy ever get my email?” - I can tell you, no, I didn’t. Sorry about that. It was completely my fault. Hopefully it works now.
I also added a nifty Guestbook on the ( contact ) page! I have no idea if other people will be able to view it, but I will – so sign it! If the email thing isn’t working, the Guest book does!
04.14.05 Well, just like that, “Bustin” is now uploaded and ready for viewing on the Short Films page. There’s no real “story”, but maybe you will bring your own narrative to it, thus elevating it to the level of ART! If not, maybe you’ll just enjoy the amazing antics of Buster Keaton and DJ EZ-Action's groovy music.
04.12.05 DJ EZ-Action and I just finished up a collaboration,
"Bustin" for submission to the Optronica festival in London. It's a little cut-up piece using my Buster Keaton loops with music by DJ E-Z Action. Look for it soon, on this here website!
04.08.05 I finally got the clips from the March 4th show up on the VJ SCOBOT page. (That was a lot of work!) I made a couple of “highlight” clips, so if you just wanted to watch those, you'll get a pretty good idea of what the show was like.
FYI, if you have Windows Media Player, I suggest you watch those clips. As much as I like Quicktime, the Windows Media files sound better, look better and are smaller! Most people have been watching the Quicktime files, so I switched the order of the files to see if people are just clicking on the first one, or they just REALLY like Quicktime!
04.01.05 Welcome to April!
I uploaded a new film, "Diet Coke Re-mercial", on the "other works" page. Just a little something I did for fun. This one is an epic at 3:27 minutes! (so much for my "uploadign shorter films"!) If anything, it’s good to exercise to ;)
In other news, "That’s One Hog Too Many" has been accepted by the Jilted Film Festival (we were "jilted" by SXSW) and will be shown in NY on April 19th. So a special THANK YOU to them for screening our film! I'm looking forward to seeing if anyone "reviews" it!
